Abstract

This study summarizes the literature on work stress and work motivation in China and other countries, and initially explores the feasibility of conducting research on work stress as an antecedent variable of work motivation. The study first summarizes the concept, stressor, and nature of work stress, and summarizes the research on challenge-impeding stress in China and abroad. Secondly, it summarizes the concept and classification of work motivation and related studies. Finally, the results of existing studies on work motivation and work stress in China and abroad are analyzed, and it is found that few studies use employees' work stress as an antecedent variable to analyze the effect of stress on employees' intrinsic/extrinsic motivation to work, and more often discuss the relationship between the two as antecedent or mediating variables and other variables. In the future, in-depth research is needed to further validate the relationship between the two influences.

 

Kajian ini merumuskan literatur berkaitan tekanan kerja dan motivasi kerja di China dan negara-negara lain, serta meneroka secara awal kebolehlaksanaan menjalankan penyelidikan yang meneliti tekanan kerja sebagai pemboleh ubah anteceden kepada motivasi kerja. Kajian ini terlebih dahulu merumuskan konsep, sumber tekanan dan sifat tekanan kerja, serta meneliti kajian berkaitan tekanan cabaran dan tekanan penghalang di China dan luar negara.

Seterusnya, kajian ini merumuskan konsep dan pengelasan motivasi kerja serta kajian-kajian berkaitan. Akhir sekali, dapatan daripada kajian sedia ada mengenai motivasi kerja dan tekanan kerja di China dan luar negara dianalisis. Hasil analisis mendapati bahawa hanya sedikit kajian yang menggunakan tekanan kerja pekerja sebagai pemboleh ubah anteceden untuk menganalisis kesan tekanan terhadap motivasi kerja intrinsik dan ekstrinsik pekerja. Sebaliknya, kebanyakan kajian lebih kerap membincangkan hubungan antara kedua-duanya sebagai pemboleh ubah anteceden atau pengantara bersama pemboleh ubah lain. Pada masa hadapan, penyelidikan yang lebih mendalam diperlukan untuk mengesahkan lagi hubungan dan pengaruh antara kedua-dua faktor ini.
