Hubungan antara Kecerdasan Sosial dan Kecerdasan Spiritual dengan Kepuasan Kerja: Satu Kajian Rintis

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between social intelligence and spiritual intelligence with job satisfaction. This pilot study involved 40 secondary school teachers in the state of Pahang. Three instruments have been used in this study, namely the Tromso Social Intelligence Scale (TSIS), the Integrated Spiritual Intelligence Scale (ISIS), and the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ). Data were analyzed using SPSS version 14.0. Spearman rho correlation test was used to answer the objectives of the study. The results showed that social intelligence and spiritual intelligence had a positive and significant relationship with job satisfaction. Discussion and conclusion of the study are also presented.

 

Tujuan kajian adalah untuk mengkaji hubungan antara kecerdasan sosial dan kecerdasan spiritual dengan kepuasan kerja. Kajian rintis ini melibatkan 40 orang guru sekolah menengah di negeri Pahang. Terdapat tiga instrumen yang telah digunakan daam kajian ini iaitu Skala Kecerdasan Sosial Tromso (TSIS), Skala Intergrasi Kecerdasan Spiritual (ISIS), dan Skala Kepuasan Minnesota (MSQ). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 14.0. Ujian korelasi Spearman rho telah digunakan untuk menjawab objektif kajian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan kecerdasan sosial dan kecerdasan spiritual mempunyai hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kepuasan kerja. Perbincangan dan kesimpulan kajian turut dikemukakan.
