Ranking Knowledge Level Using Generalized TOPSIS in Single-Valued Neutrosophic Environment
Abstract
The attempt on using multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) techniques in analyzing questionnaire had started a few years back. As the issue of uncertainty is found to be common in capturing the accurate human response, the use of a single-valued neutrosophic set was proposed to handle it. This study adopts the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal
Solution (TOPSIS) on a set of secondary data and proposed generalized TOPSIS technique with single-valued neutrosophic data in obtaining the ranking of the respondent knowledge level on two aspects. The knowledge level of diagnosing dental emergency problem and giving appropriate emergency treatment are analyzed using these two techniques. Based on the value of relative closeness coefficient, it gives consistent conclusion with the previous work.
