Abstract

In this paper, a High Entropy Alloy (HEA) metamaterial-integrated slotted circular patch antenna for 6G application is designed. The S11 reflection coefficient, gain, and efficiency of the antenna are assessed in the study, which contrasts the antenna with and without metamaterial integration. The antenna without metamaterial achieves an S11 value of -21.95 dB at 17.636 GHz. The bandwidth is 0.286 GHz. The antenna with metamaterial achieves a better S11 value at 17.55 GHz with -24.07 dB, with a bandwidth of 0.266 GHz. The results demonstrate notable improvements. Furthermore, the antenna's efficiency improved from 36% to 38% with metamaterial integration, and its gain increased from 1.347 dB without metamaterial to 1.447 dB with metamaterial. These findings show that combining HEAs and metamaterials could improve antenna performance for upcoming 6G applications, offering higher gain, better signal quality, and greater overall efficiency.
