This paper presents a comparative analysis of graphene-based microstrip patch antennas for 6G applications at 11 GHz through the integration of an Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC). The results demonstrate that the inclusion of the AMC significantly enhances the antenna’s performance. The antenna with AMC structure achieved a reflection coefficient, S11 of -32.25 dB, a gain of 3.17 dBi, and a radiation efficiency of 64.39%, compared to only –9.98 dB, -2.53 dBi and 12.41%, respectively for the design without AMC. The findings confirm that AMC integration is an effective approach to improve antenna characteristics and supports its potential use in future 6G systems.
