Abstract

We extend the generalized maximum principle of Lou and Ni [1] of elliptic equations to parabolic equations. By this result, we show that the solution of a Turing system has a global attractor provide the diffusion coefficient D 6= 0 otherwise the solution blow-up
in finite time.
